  1. Thanks for mentioning depression. I understand that it is hard to explain. If you can take time to think about it or discuss it with someone else who shares the same health problem, maybe you could come up with a few symptoms that will help friends and loved ones recognize when someone close to them is dealing with depression. If they don't know they have it, maybe someone else can help them recognize it and get help. Others may not truly know what clinical depression is like, but letting them know how to recognize it might help someone who has it and doesn't know it or can't explain how they feel.

  3. I liked the Barton Shrug. I agree it will look better with a different color ribbon. I think it's nice and would look well on women with curvy figures, as well. I am going to put that on my list. I like the look and the fit--and there are not buttons or button band to work; just the ribbon casing.

  6. Recently found your podcasts, am enjoying them, your projects and all that you share. I love your patterns and hope to become a sufficiently proficient knitter to tackle a few. And kudos to you for talking about depression!
